Welcome to Souls of Hip Hop: daily power thoughts. Harnessing the power of thought is fundamental in designing your best life and nourishing your soul. In this season, we share quotes, take-aways from our guests and affirmations to energize your day. Let this season help to awaken your best you, uplift, inspire and bring daily joy. Knowledge is power. Today's power thoughts come from Daisaku Ikeda, a Buddhist philosopher, teacher and writer. I remember about 16 years ago, I was feeling down about my situation at the time, one of my mentors and Edna Michaeli shared this quote with me: small things matter. What may look like a small act of courage is courage. Nevertheless, the important thing is to be willing to take a step forward. Small things grow over time. The little things we overlook, build up to the big ones. So today, I would encourage you to celebrate and find value in your contributions, no matter how small or the music was beatbox by Denis the Menace and produced by Zede, a big shout out to the brothers from Switzerland. The background music was produced by Taki Brano. A big thank you to our broski from Providence. Our podcast basically runs on coffee to keep our show running.
