Welcome to souls of hip hop: daily power thoughts. Harnessing the power of thought is fundamental in designing your best life and nourishing your soul. In this season, we share quotes, takeaways from our guests and affirmations to energize your day. Let this season help to awaken your best you, uplift, inspire and bring daily joy. Knowledge is power. Today's power thought comes from the debut album of American hip hop duo, Eric B. And Rakim, released in 1987. Paid in full is credited as a benchmark album of Golden Age, hip hop. Rakim's lyrics pioneered the use of internal rhymes in hip hop and set a higher standard of lyricism in rap. Here's the quote, thinking of a master plan, because Ain't nothing but sweat inside my hand. Planning allows your ambitions to find its way to the best results. A master plan is a long term dynamic layout of your desires. It then guides future growth and development and is fueled by hard work. It is the combined efforts that create the path to progress and also allows you to make informed decisions along the way. Our theme music was beatboxed by Denis the Menace and produced by Zede, a big shout out to the brothers from Switzerland. The background music was produced by Taki Brano.
