Knowledge is power. Today's power thought comes from American author and comparative religion scholar Joseph Campbell. The Hero's Journey among many other contributions to collective psychology and literature is the brainchild of Joseph Campbell. The Hero's Journey can be defined as the common template of a broad category of tales that involves a hero who goes on an adventure and in decisive crisis wins victory and then comes hom changed or transformed. One o my favorite examples is Georg Lucas of Star Wars. I'm a bi fan. And when I heard that h credits the hero's journey a helping create the narrative fo Star Wars, I dived into learnin more about Joseph Campbell' work.
