Welcome to Souls of Hip Hop: daily power thoughts. Harnessing the power of thought is fundamental in designing your best life and nourishing your soul. In this season, we share quotes, takeaways from our guests, and affirmations to energize your day. Let this season help to awaken your best you, uplift, inspire and bring daily joy. Knowledge is power. Today's power thought is about compassion. Here's the quote; use your voice for kindness. Use your ears for compassion, your hands for charity, your mind for truth, and your heart for love. An attitude of compassion does not mean looking down on someone pitting them in their misery. Compassion is based on respect. We discuss life as equals, learn from each other and strive together to improve our lives. Compassion is at the heart of every little thing we do is the dearest quality we possess. Yet all too often it can be cast aside with consequences too tragic to speak up. To lose our compassion, we lose what it is to be human. compassion for others begins with kindness to ourselves. As a member of humanity, I extend my compassion to everyone. As I focus on compassion, I naturally relate to others with love and understanding. As my concern for others deepens, my life becomes more fulfilling in every way. Our theme music was beatboxed by Denis the Menace and produced by Zede. A big shout out to the brothers from Switzerland. The background music was produced by Taki Brano. A big thank you to our broski from Providence. Our podcast basically runs on coffee. To keep our show running, you can support us by buying a coffee through the link in our show notes. I am Candy.
